The first Meliá resort to debut in Thailand has unveiled a Samui Getaway promotion with 30 percent off accommodation as a lure to domestic travellers.
The new Meliá Koh Samui, overlooking Choeng Mon Beach on the north-eastern tip of Koh Samui island, is offering Thai nationals and expatriates Deluxe rooms and Premium Pool Access rooms for THB 2,999 (USD 97) and THB 4,500 (USD 145) nett respectively per night, for direct bookings made by July 31 with a travelling period until December 23, 2020.
The discounted room rate includes breakfast. The resort will provide a complimentary roundtrip transfer for a minimum two-night stay.
The Deluxe rooms feature a standalone bathtub on a private balcony. The Premium Pool Access rooms come with private terraces that segue to a 1600 square metre lagoon pool that meanders through the resort’s lush grounds like a river.
Meliá Koh Samui has launched a raft of stringent health, safety and hygiene measures in the wake of Covid-19 under a global programme called “Stay Safe With Meliá”, developed in collaboration with certification, inspection and testing company Bureau Veritas and based on World Health Organisation recommendations.
Meliá Koh Samui celebrated its grand opening on January 10, cutting the ribbon on a host of world-class facilities including two restaurants, a swim-up bar, a two-level infinity pool, an executive lounge, spa, fitness centre, ballroom and conference facilities and, for families, a kid’s club, outdoor playground and mini water park.
The 30 percent discount on the Deluxe Room and Pool Access Room is valid for bookings made July 31, 2020 for stays taken until December 23, 2020 made directly with the resort by calling +66 77 938 899 or emailing email@example.com. The discounted room rate includes breakfast. This offer includes return airport transfers for a minimum two-night stay. An extra bed is available upon request for an adult or child at THB 1500 (USD 48) and THB 850 (USD 27) respectively.
