China Airlines celebrated the 50th anniversary of its direct Bangkok-Taipei route. The airline also highlighted on this occasion some of its innovative features such as the e-Check-in, the upcoming opening of a new lounge, and recent additions to their fleet, including the brand new A350 airplane.
China Airlines’ Thai success story started in 1967 when the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his Queen Sirikit traveled to Taipei and Bangkok with them. Shortly after, the company established a direct commercial route between Taipei and Bangkok, which was often honored by Princess Sirindhorn’s patronage.
