APCOM, one of Asia Pacific’s leading HIV and LGBTI community networks, based in Bangkok, is organising the LGBTQI+ Biz Forum 2020 on 26 and 27 November 2020 at Eternity Ballroom, Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel. This forum is part of the APCOM Community Summit 2020.
Over the two days, the forum will feature various sessions including LGBTQI+ Situation in Thailand, Thailand LGBTQI+ Inclusive Business, Facebook Training: How to use Facebook Ads Effectively, Thailand LGBTQI+ Moving Forward, Health and Wellbeing, and Self-Development.
Attendees can participate in the Thai LGBTQI+ Trade Fair and a special session on Diversity and Inclusion at the Infinity Ballroom, also at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel. The session will focus on why inclusion in the private sector is important, along with experiences of LGBTQI+ inclusion in businesses in Thailand. There will also be booths from various Thailand based SMEs and LGBTQI+ organisations that will showcase knowledge and expertise in their specific work or business area.
APCOM is hosting the Hero Awards 2020 on 27th November, an annual gala event that acknowledges outstanding HIV and LGBTQI+ advocates and allies from across Asia and the Pacific. The awards raise money for the HIV prevention and human rights work of APCOM.
The evening will bring together celebrities, special guests, community members and supporters to pay tribute to the extraordinary contributions of individuals and organisations who have improved the lives of LGBTQI+ people and people affected by HIV throughout the Asia Pacific region.
