Italian restaurant Figs, at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, has been newly renovated with a modern and elegant casual interior, its comfy sofa chairs and warm lighting creating a relaxing ambiance. You may also choose to dine al fresco if you love the feel of a gentle sea breeze.
With a new Italian chef at the helm, the new menu brings together dishes from all over Italy, especially from the southern region of Puglia, and includes antipasti, pasta and risotto, pizza, and meat and seafood dishes. The menu is built around classic comfort food cooked with ingredients that are imported from Italy, as well as local produce.
A special promotion called Taste of Italy is taking place right now at Figs every Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. As the name suggests, guests can enjoy a culinary trip around Italy with a regional buffet menu. Dishes include crispy calamari from central Italy’s Lazio region, beef ragu from Emilia-Romagna, little orecchiette pasta ears from Puglia, tiramisu from Veneto, and wobbly panna cotta, invented in Piedmont in the 1960s.
A carving station features the famous Italian spit-roasted pork porchetta from Lazio, and for guests who love artisan breads there is cold-proofed ciabatta, whole wheat and focaccia. The promotion starts from THB 999++ per person.
