The ROBINSON group continues to capitalize on opportunities for growth within Asia, as on November 11 it celebrated the debut of its first club in Southeast Asia with the opening of ROBINSON Club Khao Lak, operating under the new Vitya Holding Co. Ltd., a joint venture between ROBINSON GmbH and the Chakrabandhu family.
Over the last five years, ROBINSON’s portfolio of high-end holiday resorts has grown, now boasting 24 clubs throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia with multilingual staff and facilities to cater for guests from across the globe.
ROBINSON Club Khao Lak, located on the west coast of Thailand approximately 85 kilometers away from Phuket, is situated in the scenery of the Khao Lak rainforest. The property is approximately 280,000 square meters, it is located directly on the beach, and lies eight kilometers from the city center of Khao Lak. The resort features 320 rooms in 13 categories ranging from double and family rooms in the main building, to suites, pool bungalows, and luxury villas, some with direct access to the beach.
The club caters to couples and singles but also for families with children who can participate in the signature ROBY Club fun, offering creative and active programs for the little ones during their stay.
The club has three specialty restaurants and also features a full board program for guests. In the evening, an emphasis is placed on a variety of entertainment and shows, many performed by the club’s own employees.
During the day guests can take part of a variety of sporting activities such as tennis, volleyball, archery, with a special focus placed on WellFit with group fitness classes, body & mind courses, as well as eight double treatment rooms for massages. For those guests who have a love of water sports, stand up paddling and kayaking are also offered.
The new club offers its international guests a new destination for those seeking more long-haul tropical destinations suitable for families, couples, honeymooners, and solo travelers alike.
