At the end of the 19th century, millions of Italians pushed by a great Hunger expatriated themselves all over the world, and particularly the Napolitans from Napoli immigrated to Marseille, France and New York, USA. They brought with them their famous Napoli pizza which was at first Bianca (White Pizza) and transformed into Rossa (Red Pizza) with the addition of the local Provencal tomatoes, Pandelotte.

Inspired by this and as an homage to those pioneers of the pizza, Chef Luca Appino (Bottega di Luca, Vesper Bar, Il Fumo) and Frederic Meyer (Issaya Siamese Club / Namsaah / Issaya Cooking studio / Issaya La Patisserie / Kom-Ba-Wa/ Baan Phadthai / Le Cochon Blanc) decided to create the first Gourmet Pizzeria in Thailand.

Pizza Massilia is not just a pizzeria; it’s an Art of Living. Using only the best artisan products from Italy and France (Extra Virgin Olive Oil Bio, Mortadella from Bologna, Black Truffle Scorzone from Tuscany, San Marzano Tomato DOP, DOCG Burrata, DOCG Mozzarella, Piennolo tomatoes from Vesuvio, Mix of Organic Flours from Italy from one of the most iconic and influential Italian producer Mulino Marino, please kindly find the website link for your reference with a unique process of 72 hours fermentation and made in an authentic wood fired pizza oven from Stefano Ferrara.

The concept of our Gourmet Pizza is pleased to discern all the Italian excellence expression of the best artisanal ingredients, proudly selected after a dedicated research all over the Italian regions. The menu will include some highlights as the Culatello Pizza, Truffle Mortadella Pizza, Italian Fassone Beef Carpaccio and Sea Urchin. Also to add to the pizza menu, Chef Luca Appino created dishes cooked also in the wood oven as Mediterranean Seabass en Papilotte, Tomates Farcies (Traditional recipe from Marseille) and also pastas as Liguine Clams, as well as a selection of Antipasti Appetizers (such as Baby Squids Bouillabaisse and Ratatouille & Stracciatella).

The Décor of Pizza Massilia features baroque chic style.  The Authentic wood fired pizza ovens will not be so bored anymore with the sparkling golden tiles create playful ambience to the restaurant. The music is designed by DJ Clement from Colette Paris to match with Pizza Massilia ambience.
Pizza Massilia Ruam Rudee located in the Phloen Chit area, was opened in 2015 December. This restaurant has unusual settings for sit dining at indoor and outdoor terrace, serving the remarkable food menus of set lunch, special of the month, and a la carte. The new branch, Pizza Massilia Sukhumvit 49, opening on 2nd June 2017, will be displaying the same Gourmet Pizza concept. This new restaurant has the leisure gardens for outdoor sit dining, and fabulous settings for sit dining at indoor.
