Siam Kempinski presents afternoon tea with harp music

Experience a classic afternoon tea in an enchanting musical setting at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok’s magnificent lobby, showcasing solo harpist Madame Wang, performing melodious harp music during January every Wednesday until Sunday.

Executive pastry chef Franck Istel presents the new Afternoon Tea at Kempinski – Solo Harp Edition, which brings musical-note designs to your table with a selection of homemade savouries and sweets, paired with a choice of Lavazza coffee or Ronnefeldt tea. Chef Franck has also added a selection of homemade sorbet, served at your table, to choose between lemon, raspberry and mango.

The tea ceremony begins with savoury bites, including foie gras mousseline tartlet; mini lobster brioche; smoked salmon rillettes bagel; rosemary ham soft roll; and egg salad mille-feuille, avruga caviar.

The choice of sweets features almond-and-passionfruit delice; fresh fruits Charlotte cake, vanilla bavaroise; sesame, raspberry and vanilla shortbread; Valrhona chocolate opera slice; upside down hazelnut mascarpone Chantilly choux; lemon berry tartlet; vanilla Madeleine; and plain and raisin scones served with homemade strawberry jam, lemon curd and clotted cream.

The lobby lounge is located on the ground floor of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. The Afternoon Tea at Kempinski – Solo Harp Edition by Madame Wang is presented during January every Wednesday until Sunday from 14:00 to 17:00 hrs and priced at THB 990++ per person. Families with little guests from six to 12 years old will receive a complimentary mini afternoon tea set with every order of a classic afternoon tea set.
