From March to May this year, approximately 5.8 million people commemorated their birthday at home due to the 36 days of elevated pandemic restrictions in Thailand. Accor is inviting local residents to host such birthdays, anniversaries and other special celebrations that could not be held earlier in the year. The “Missed Celebrations” offer, which is available at 50 restaurants and bars across the country, entitles guests to receive a 50% cashback voucher on dining bills, valid for a future stay, spa or dining experience.

The Missed Celebrations offer provides greater incentive for guests to rekindle these missed moments with an array of restaurants and bars, from economy options at ibis and ibis Styles hotels to luxurious offerings across the SO/ Hotels & Resorts and Sofitel brands.

“Many of us have missed milestone celebrations over the past six months due to the unprecedented circumstances brought about by the public health crisis. We may not be able to travel back to the exact day of an anniversary or milestone, but we can certainly take the time to celebrate properly now that our fabulous venues have returned with heightened hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and comfortable gathering. Now is the perfect time to select your favourite rooftop bar for a belated birthday get-together, or mark a recent graduation and the start of a new chapter”, said Peter Finnegan, vice president for Food Beverage Luxury for Accor in Upper Southeast & Northeast Asia and the Maldives.

For a truly European-inspired dining affair, Belga Rooftop Bar & Brasserie at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit presents a unique option as Bangkok’s first and only contemporary Belgian restaurant.

With hotels further afield in Hua Hin, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi, and Samui, Accor also offers a range of venues for out-of-town celebrations with loved ones.

The offer is available from now until 14th December 2020 and vouchers can be redeemed up to six months after the date of the qualifying event. Booking must be made directly with the hotel via their website, social media channels, phone, or email.
