Famous wines from Italian vineyards are being served free flow at Up & Above Bar along with canapés on 12 March 2020 from 18:30 to 21:30, priced at 1,500 baht net per person.
The Famous Italian Wines & Canapes evening begins with a canapé of shrimp tartar, yuzu gel and togarashi served with La Valentina’s 2018 Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, followed by baked mussel pie, thyme and pecorino gratin enjoyed with La Valentina’s 2018 Pecorino Colline Pescaresi IGT.
Then comes veal osobuco and pappardelle matched with a 2014 Ridolfi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG from Tuscany, a rich braised Charolais cheek ravioli with sage butter accompanied by La Valentina’s 2016 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, before a decadent ending of salami Milano and stracciatella cones with walnut crisp served with a La Valentina’s 2015 Spelt Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva. Fine wines from the Lazio and Puglia regions will also be served.
