Campari, Italy’s iconic red apéritif, has joined forces with Imbibe Magazine for the sixth year to present Negroni Week 2018, celebrating the iconic Negroni cocktail – a mix of Campari, gin, and sweet red vermouth.

The week-long international charity initiative will take place from June 4 to 10, 2018, in bars, restaurants, and retailers around the world to raise money for charitable causes.

Over seven days, thousands of venues will celebrate the nearly 100-year-old Negroni cocktail, with Campari at the heart, over one shared charitable goal. With the modern cocktail movement continuing to expand, the annual event has grown larger every year, with Negroni Week 2018 set to be the biggest yet. Starting with 100 participating bars in 2013, last year’s Negroni Week welcomed the involvement of 7,770 venues in 60 countries to raise USD 1.5 million for charitable causes since the launch. Following the ever-growing contemporary classic cocktail phenomenon and the rising popularity of bitter, Negroni Week Thailand 2018 is expected to gather a larger number of sign-ups than the 101 bars that participated in the 2017 edition.

Independent Wine & Spirit (Thailand) Company Limited and Penthouse Bar Grillwill will kick off the Negroni Week Thailand with a Launch Party on June 4, 2018. All proceeds of this event will be donated to the renowned The Foundation for the Deaf under The Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen.

Joining the sponsor lineup for Negroni Week 2018 are the other key ingredients to the famous cocktail, Bulldog Gin, and Cinzano Vermouth, creating the perfect lineup for any Negroni.

The Recipe

As a globally-consumed classic cocktail, the IBA Official Drink List states Campari is the key defining ingredient.


  • 30 ml. Campari
  • 30 ml. Gin
  • 30 ml. Sweet Red Vermouth


  • Pour the ingredients directly into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice
  • Stir gently
  • Garnish with half an orange slice
