Novotel Samui Resort Chaweng Beach Kandaburi invites guests and non-guests to discover Thailand’s regions through two buffet dinners featuring Asian and international dishes, to celebrate this festive season.
December 24: Christmas Gala Buffet Dinner
The Christmas celebration will take place on December 24, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Santa Claus will make his appearance in the guests’ rooms; a buffet dinner featuring international dishes—such as cold cuts, patés and terrines, fresh seafood and smoked fish, salads, soups, pasta, barbequed meats, roasted turkey, and desserts, among others—will be offered from 6:30 p.m. onward at Beach Restaurant & Bar. Live entertainment including Christmas carols will accompany guests throughout the evening.
Book until December 23 and pay THB 1,000/adult and THB 500/child (price on the 24th is THB 1,600/adult and THB 800/child; drinks not included). All prices are net. Accor Plus member cards get a 25% discount for this event.
December 31: New Year Festival & Gala International Buffet Dinner
The New Year at Novotel Samui Resort will take place on December 31, 2017, from 5 p.m. onward. Guests will start the celebration enjoying sunset cocktails in front of Tom Yam Thai restaurant, to then discover Thai traditions and flavors of the world at Beach Restaurant & Bar. Entertainment will be provided by the enthralling pong lang—a traditional Thai wooden xylophone hailing from Isaan region—, Thai traditional dances, a live band, a DJ, and a fire show. The buffet dinner will offer regional and international appetizers, salads, and main courses, including pan-seared foie gras, marinated artichokes, a BBQ station with meats and seafood, rib eye steak, curries, assorted Thai and Asian pastries, and more. There will be a lucky draw for guests to win food and drink gifts and, of course, a countdown.
