All Marriott properties worldwide have been very active in celebrating the Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW), which is Marriott International’s initiative to thank customers for their continued partnership, extend appreciation to Marriott associates, and give back to the local communities.
The Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand was the guest of honor who made a speech to mark the opening of Marriott GCAW 2017, celebrated at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok. Welcoming the TAT Governor were Karl Hudson, Area Vice President for Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Myanmar; Gerd Kotlorz, Area Director of Operations & Distributions, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Myanmar; general managers and directors of Sales and Marketing of the Marriott Thailand properties.
“Pin Our Journey” was this year’s theme, emphasizing the locations of the 43 Marriott hotels in Thailand, complemented with destinations and culture throughout the region.
