Banyan Tree Bangkok is delighted to present a young, driven and innovative Vietnamese chef “Tran Duy Thuong” from Banyan Tree Lang Co as guest chef from 22 until 29 November 2013. Chef Tran Duy Thuong will preside over the kitchen of Romsai restaurant alongside the restaurant’s chefs and showcase her culinary skills in a special menu.
Explore another flavorful cuisine of South East Asia with our guest chef and her culinary brigade who will craft the distinctive imperial cuisine from “Hue” Vietnam’s central coast province, and a UNESCO World Heritage destination. Hue cuisine is known for its meticulous preparation, attractive flavors and colors and beautiful, rich yet delicate dishes. Amongst the dishes that she will present will be Bun Bo Hue (Hue style beef vermicelli), Banh Nam (flat rice flour dumplings with shrimp and scallions), Banh Beo (water fern cake, or small steamed rice pancake) just to name a few.
Tran Duy Thuong is a dedicated and talented chef who possesses true creativity with considerable experience in imperial cuisine. She has also taken the skills and knowledge of different cuisines and adapted these to the local products, by offering a healthy and mouthwatering cuisine prepared with fresh and organic ingredients. Now she is delighted to be able to introduce all of her finest dishes to the discerning diners in Bangkok, and showcase her gastronomical flair and talent for creating a taste sensation.
Visit Romsai restaurant from 22 until 29 November to experience a genuine taste of Vietnamese gastronomy prepared by the expert chef from our sister property in Vietnam. Buffet dinner is priced at THB 1,600++ and Sunday Brunch at THB 1,700++ per person.
