/  Events + Hot Deals   /  Yamazato celebrates Boys’ Festival

Yamazato restaurant at The Okura Prestige Bangkok celebrates the annual Boys’ Festival/Children’s Day on May 5th with very special Kaiseki-style set lunch and dinner menus.

This fine Japanese tradition, part of the annual Golden Week holiday, dates back some 1,500 years. A samurai doll is decorated to protect the health and bring happiness to boys in the family and carp-shaped streamers are flown from flag poles to symbolise success. This ‘Kodomo-no-hi’ festival has transformed into a celebration of all children. Yamazato is extending this famous festival to five days (May 1st – 5th) to ensure that patrons may enjoy ‘Kodomo-no-hi’.

The luncheon set menu is priced at 800 Baht.

The dinner set menu is priced at 4,500 Baht.

All prices are subject to 10% service charge and 7% government tax.
