Phuket – XANA a partnership with the successful Singapore-based nightclub group Attica, is bringing a whole new party scene to Phuket. The beach club features a 35m swim-up pool bar set on the sands of Bang Tao Bay, located within the five-star resort of Angsana Laguna Phuket.
Now dubbed as Phuket’s most stylish venue, XANA has announced an exciting line-up of top DJs for the high season including legendary DJ Paul Oakenfold who has sold over five million LPs and produced for Madonna, U2 and The Happy Mondays. DJ Frankie Knuckles, the Godfather of House music and inductee into the Dance Music Hall of Fame.
2013 kicked off with the Godfather of house music, DJ Frankie Knuckles, making his debut Jan. 5. Phenomenal nights continued with Asia No. 1 female DJ, Nakadia, becomes the hottest ticket in town on Jan. 12. More DJ line-ups continued for each week including Dennis Ferrer, the founder of the Objektivity record label, who prepared an afrocentric house line up at XANA, Jan. 31.
Ibiza legend, Matt Caseli needs no introduction after 14 years residency at the world’s most famous and beautiful club Pacha. He is expected to light up the night at XANA on Feb. 23. The coming April, the legend that is Paul Oakenfold will be given center stage to show off his tracks on April 28. After his work with Madonna and films scores in “The Bourne Identity,” “Californication,” and many others, Oakenfold is surely the name to watch out for this year.
Adding to the flavor of the thrilling DJ lineup, the menu focuses on light meals, healthy food and tapas, with creative combinations of Mediterranean and Thai tastes in eye-catching presentations. XANA Chef Krisnamurti “Kiki” Damarjati takes his cuisine to the cutting edge of style and flavours. XANA’s Mediterranean-influenced lunch and dinner menus feature a variety of small plates drawing from the culinary heritage of Thailand and Europe.
To end the XANA’s dining experience on a sweet note, the dessert menu including creamy berries Cheesecake and homemade speculos Tiramisu are not to be missed.
XANA is open seven days per week for lunch and dinner; operating hours are from 10 a.m. till midnight. Food service is from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
