BANGKOK, Thailand (January 23, 2013) — The Siam, Bangkok, has been recognised by The 2012 Gallivanter’s Awards for Excellence, sweeping the board with five of the prestigious honours.
The Siam was selected for the “Editor’s Choice Award”, one of only eight top hotels worldwide, and ranked as the “Best City Hotel in South East Asia” by discerning readers of The Gallivanter’s Guide. The Siam was also named as the #3 “Best City Hotel Worldwide”, whilst the hotel’s Opium Spa and General Manager Jason Friedman were named #2 “Best Hotel Spa Worldwide and #2 “Best General Manager Worldwide” respectively.
The readers of the UK-based The Gallivanter’s Guide were polled in this 22nd annual readers’ survey and the winners were recognised for their service excellence and outstanding performance. Published since 1991, The Gallivanter’s Guide serves as a worldwide reference for luxury travel aficionados with a readership in 42 countries.
