Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, the renowned fine-dining modern-Thai-cuisine restaurant at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, continues to go from strength to strength, built on its outstanding reputation for culinary excellence, adding a fourth year to its one-Michelin-star status. The announcement was made during an official ceremony on 16 December 2020 to launch the Michelin Guide Thailand 2021 Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket & Phang-Nga. The restaurant first received Michelin one-star status in December 2017.
“We are delighted that the Michelin Guide Thailand has once again recognised that our fine-dining experience at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin is world-class. All credit must go to our Senior Head Chef Berm Chayawee Sutcharitchan and talented team, who bring their exceptional skills to the table every day. We are proud to deliver a premier culinary dining experience using the renowned Kempinski White Glove Services, maintaining the highest possible standards of health and safety in our kitchens, restaurants and public areas for our guests, and are humbled by these awards,” said Richard Schestak, managing director of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.
“Importantly, we remain committed to creating modern Thai cuisine with authentic ingredients based upon traditional recipes and produced using modern cooking techniques. We continue to be inspired by the knowledge and expertise of Chef Henrik Yde Anderson from Kiin Kiin restaurant in Copenhagen, and we look forward to welcoming Chef Henrik back to Bangkok when travel restrictions are lifted, so that we may prepare our exciting seasonal menus for 2021.”
