Highlights from the New Year’s Eve Gozen lunch and Kaiseki dinner include delights such as pink and white fish dumpling soup, grilled Spanish mackerel with mixed egg yolk, vegetables and shrimp roe, simmered soy milk skin rolls with royal fern, taro, sweet fish with roe, bamboo shoot and plum-shaped carrot and snow pea, simmered rice with oyster, salmon roe, grilled amberjack with miso and Wagyu beef teriyaki, steamed red snapper with yuzu, soy milk skin, edamame, crab meat, matsutake mushroom, and salmon roe, and sarashina soba with kakiage tempura of sakura shrimp. The New Year’s Eve teppanyaki menu includes three kinds of sashimi, scallop, snow crab, and a choice of Satsuma Wagyu beef sirloin or tenderloin.
