A fabulous Sunday Brunch that captures the diverse flavours of the Mediterranean region
The new ALATi restaurant at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok presents the Riviera Sunday Brunch featuring a stunning selection of dishes inspired by the amazing recipes, flavours and ingredients of the entire Mediterranean region.
Riviera Sunday Brunch embraces the diverse culinary traditions of countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea, from Spain and Morocco in the west via France, Italy and Greece to Turkey and Lebanon.
A typical Riviera Sunday Brunch begins with a healthy salad and fresh seafood on ice including Canadian lobster, Alaskan king crab and tiger prawns.
The unlimited choice of à la carte main course dishes includes Wagyu beef medallion ‘Café de Paris’ served with mixed mushroom ragout; pan-fried Murraylands lamb cutlet with zaatar crust, grilled zucchini, mint and labneh yoghurt sauce, and seared giant Hokkaido scallop with warm chickpea hummus, sesame and citrus jus.
The carvery station offers succulent cuts of premium meats, super-fresh seafood, and Levantine specialities for those with insatiable appetites.
The extensive buffet choices at Riviera Sunday Brunch also include a raw bar featuring salmon carpaccio with Riviera tomato salsa; tuna tartare with capers and shallots, and French oysters.
Pass around speciality dishes includes paella, which varies from week to week. Riviera Sunday Brunch also offers a wide selection of international cheeses, cold cuts, a foie gras corner and homemade bread.
This fascinating journey around the Mediterranean region ends with a selection of delicious desserts and different gelato flavours with Turkish coffee and Moroccan tea.
‘The Mediterranean diet is recognised by UNESCO for being extremely healthy, light and well balanced without making any sacrifice in taste or variety. Our main focus is the use of high-quality ingredients to deliver remarkable flavours. Family recipes, traditional preparations and the luxury of simplicity have a major role in the presentation of each dish at ALATi Riviera Sunday Brunch,’ explains Executive Chef Carlos Valenziano.
‘Sunday Brunch is a popular occasion in many parts of the Mediterranean region, including Spain and the French Riviera. It`s the special day when friends and families meet for what is probably their longest meal of the week, enjoyed with a variety of cocktails, wines, spirits and Champagne,’ adds Carlos.
Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok Managing Director Richard Schestak says, ‘We invite diners to spend an enjoyable afternoon in the comfortable atmosphere of ALATi, sipping on fine Champagne and enjoying our selection of fine wines, cocktails, spirits and fresh juices.
