Guest Chef Jino presents Northern Thai cuisine in six-course pop-up at Spice Market

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel welcomes executive chef Pisit “Jino” Jinopong of Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort for two nights of Lanna cuisine on 25 to 26 February 2020.

Chef Jino’s much in-demand culinary skills and creativity, in both Asian and Western flavours, arise from over 25 years’ experience in top establishments across the globe. His talent has taken him from Macau to the Maldives and from Singapore to Thailand. He now oversees two restaurants at Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort, along with Anantara Cooking School and other culinary experiences.

Renowned for its authentic Siamese recipes, Spice Market is a fitting setting for the star chef to present a six-course menu of classic dishes from his native north. Highlights will include dry-aged tenderloin marinated in blended spices and rice whiskey and spiced ruby fish cooked in turmeric. Diners can also sample braised beef brisket with bone marrow crust and dessert of crispy banana with sweet tamarind and coconut ice cream. The six-course dinner is priced at THB 1,800++ per person.

The pop-up menu will be available at Spice Market, 1st floor, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel (BTS Ratchadamri) for dinner from 6.00 pm to 10.30 pm on 25 and 26 February 2020 only.
