Lifestyle Curators for Thailand + Southeast Asia

getfresh is the new dressed

Local restaurant chain “Dressed,” today announced several changes to the brand and the restaurant group’s identity to ensure that it stays at the forefront of the healthy, fast-casual dining segment that is growing rapidly in Southeast Asia.

In the wake of a US three-million-dollar fundraising round led by Stonelotus Ventures, The Fresh Food Company Limited’s Co-Founder, Sid Sehgal, explained to a media gathering that the firm felt that it was time to relaunch the group’s restaurants under the new “getfresh” brand.

“While Dressed was the first restaurant group in Thailand to focus on healthy food options, the impression in the market is that we are just a salad chain” Mr. Sehgal said.  “With the launch of the getfresh concept, we are transitioning to a lifestyle brand, where Thai and international customers interested in active living and healthy food can find a wide range of high quality, great tasting food at a reasonable price. By making our variety of sustainably-sourced and healthy ingredients available to a wider audience we hope to improve the well-being of everyone who is conscious of the food they eat.” he added.

The getfresh name and logo represent a sustainable and healthy ethos. From the five-colored seeds representing the colors of healthy eating, to the action implied by its name, getfresh has worked relentlessly to match menu offerings to the demands of an active, health-conscious consumer.

The menu at getfresh will include an abundance of chef-designed menu items, as well as the flexibility for customers to create their own meals using organic and sustainable produce. Apart from supporting small and local producers, some of the vegetables are also grown directly on getfresh’s own farm in Pranburi.

The first getfresh outlet will open on the ground floor of Samyan Mitrtown on January 1, 2020. In the first quarter of next year, the existing eight branches of Dressed will be converted to the getfresh concept. The Fresh Food Company has plans to open another 10 branches within 2020, with further expansion plans in 2021.
