On 20 July 2019, Maggie Choo’s emerged from its underground speakeasy and went high above the city lights, taking over the 35th floor of the Penthouse Bar + Grill at the Park Hyatt Bangkok in a unique collaborative takeover.
Maggie Choo’s bartenders – Anders Olsen and “Kong” Worachai Duangkong – served up four of the venue’s Asian-infused signature cocktails: “Rum in Tea,” “Black Blood,” and “Red in Town.” The Penthouse served up their own signature cocktails with “Red Carpet,” “Lady Tango,” “Hair of Farang,” and “White Pearl.”
Guests were amused by the venue’s famous Shanghainese ladies, who presented three signature dances to entertain guests at The Penthouse and gave a little taste of Maggie Choo’s.
In a special guest arrangement, award-winning American recording artist, Norwood Young, performed to guests and revelers at The Penthouse, showing his talent and establishing his residency at Maggie Choo’s.
The take over was rounded out with guests dancing the night away with Maggie Choo’s Shanghainese ladies to the tunes by DJ Mr. Jim.
