Every weekend until the end of March, Koi Lounge has an array of musicians entertaining night owls with a variety of music for all tastes.
Award-winning saxophonists and musicians give live performances in Koi’s intimate hidden lounge from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. whilst a team of deep house DJ’s continue the party afterward into the night. We were lucky enough to experience the sounds of Latin percussionist, Camillo Diaz, who soothed our ears with different genres of music from House to folksy Champeta to sensual Latin Jazz.
All this was taken in whilst sipping on one (or three!) of Koi’s new signature sensation cocktails – Hiyokuna (rosemary, pineapple, strawberry), Bushido (old fashioned style with strong taste), and Roses Fall (sweet and flowery). All original, fruity concoctions with a strong taste to leave us more mellow than the lounge music itself.
As the DJs were getting the party started inside, we strolled outside onto the veranda for a quick timeout and marveled at the stunning view in front of them. Perched on top of Sathorn Square building the stunning Bangkok city skyline sprawls out beneath you and basking in its panoramic view left us with a sense of contentment and a warm glow. Or maybe it was the Bushido cocktail kicking in…
