An award-winning producer of wines, Banfi was founded by Italian-American brothers, John and Henry Mariani in 1978. The private vintner comprises two renowned vineyards in Italy – Castello Banfi in Montalcino, Tuscany, and Banfi Piemonte of Strevi, Piedmont. They have developed cutting-edge wine-making techniques as a result of ground-breaking research. Castello Banfi achieved international recognition by being the first winery in the world to be awarded for exceptional environmental, ethical and social responsibility.
Gourmet Italian Dishes
The 6-course menu will begin with an antipasti buffet of imported cold cuts and bruschetta paired with a Banfi Tener Brut Spumante N.V. A Risotto al Chianti will come later, washed down with Banfi Rosso Di Montalcino 2015, enhancing the Italian flavors.
The Banfi wine dinner will take place at Brio, Anantara Riverside Bangkok’s Italian restaurant. Diners will be treated to the 6-course wine dinner in the Tuscan villa style dining room between 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on September, Tuesday 26.
