Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce, has confirmed that the 59th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair will return on a gigantic scale. It will be a complete transformation, with modern functional zoning focusing on jewelry designs that match fast- changing global demands and six specialised zones targeting six niche groups, reflecting the latest global trends.
The five-day fair offers a great chance for buyers from every corner of the world to purchase premium quality raw materials, gems and jewelry products, and related tools and equipment from leading Thai producers and globally-acclaimed companies. In addition, this renowned international trade platform will provide a tremendous opportunity for traders to expand their business network and connect with new business partners. Bringing together 700 companies at 2,000 booths, the event will be 25 percent larger than last year’s fair, which generated a sales turnover of US$476.85 million.
Brand-new, Dazzling layout
The 59th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair will feature a brand-new and dazzling layout, showcasing the full spectrum of gems and jewelry products – from gemstones, diamonds, pearls, precious metals, synthetics, costume and fashion jewelry, gold jewelry, silver jewelry, display and packaging, equipment, tools and jewelry parts, to machinery.
At BGJF 2017, legitimate exhibitors will enjoy a Duty-Free privilege, which applies to duties on all gems and jewelry products imported and sold at
BJGF. Meanwhile, traders and buyers will benefit greatly from much lower sales prices. Furthermore, the fair will also provide comprehensive trade facilitation such as pre-event business matching service, business lounge, massage corner, on-site Wi-Fi service, and much more.
A Grand Showcase of Niche Markets
The fair features six specialized showcases targeting six niche groups. The “60+” features gems and jewelry designed for senior citizens; “Pet Parade” highlights gems and jewelry for pets, “The Moment” showcases jewelry for special moments such as weddings; “Culture Club” displays contemporary art jewelry; “Metro Men” offers various designs of gems and jewelry especially for men; and “Spiritual Power” shines the spotlight on gems and jewelry of beliefs, opulence and horoscopes.
