Throughout June 2013, The Verandah Coffee Shop at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is offering a special Crepes menu by the hotel’s own Chef Pierre Rimoneau.
Crepes originated in Brittany in the northwest region of France, which lies between the English Channel to the north and the Bay of Biscay to the south. The word “crepe” refers both to the individual pancake and the filled creation which can be both savoury and delightfully sweet.
Come indulge in Chef’s Pierre’s distinctive creations such as “Smoked Salmon Mousse, Smoked Salmon, Chive and Lemon Juice in Crepe Pockets with Marinated Fennel and Rocket Shavings”; “Roasted Fillet of Chilean Seabass, Mushroom Puree and Fried Herb Crepes, Bouquet of Vegetables and Steamed Rice”; “Crepes Suzette with Vanilla Ice Cream”; “Crepes Layer Cake and Raspberry Sauce with Pistachio Ice Cream”; “Warm Crepes filled with Caramelized Banana and Passion Fruit Banana Ice Cream”’ and “Warm Crepes with Chocolate Crunch, Vanilla Ice Cream and Whipped Cream”
